Champion’s League Soccer

Well today Inter showed how important defense is to winning the big cups. They had to hold a lead against a strong Barca home team, then had to play with 10 men for 2/3 of the game and still their defensive wall held tight only giving up one goal to the potent Barca front line. They prevailed at the Nou Camp and now get to play in Madrid next month against Bayern in the Champion’s League final. I am a Barca fan but to be honest I really had to admire the Inter defense and how they showed the true definition of packing your defense and being well organized.

In a word they were spectacular. Messi could not break through nor could his teammates. That is quite a feat. Jose will get some of the credit buty in truth his players rose to the occassion in grand style. Hats off to them.

Next year Barca!
